Kin and Spice began with a question. Where is the food tour in DC that slows down time, honors tradition, and speaks with authenticity? After traveling to more than 40 countries alongside chefs and cultural makers, we realized something important. Most tours were either rushed or surface level. We wanted an experience that reflected the depth and legacy of our food culture.
That longing became Kin and Spice. We partner with restaurants, cultural curators, makers, and creative spaces to design thoughtful dining journeys rooted in heritage and craft. Our mission is simple. Honor the flavors that raised us and spotlight the hands that bring them to life.
With a lifelong love of travel and a curiosity for how food holds memory, our founder set out to explore the world. More than 40 countries later, she learned a shared truth. Flavor is history. Cuisine moves with people. And connection happens when we sit at the table with intention.
